Powertrain and Performance

The A3 and S3 are both equipped with a 2.0L Turbo I-4 engine. The S3 has a higher horsepower at 306 hp compared to the 201 hp of the A3. The S3 also has a faster acceleration time, able to go from 0-100 km/h in only 4.8 seconds. The A3 however, is much better in fuel consumption sitting at 7.6 L/100km for combined city and highway driving. Both sedans come with a superior handling package and drive-adjustable dynamics.
