Grouse Mountain Perks Return for Club OpenRoad Members

The Peak of Vancouver also just announced it is breaking ground on a transformational lift replacement program.

Grouse Mountain

OpenRoad is thrilled to partner with Grouse Mountain once again and bring back its popular perks for Club OpenRoad members, commencing immediately. Members with OpenRoad license plate frames will automatically receive free parking on-site at the base of the mountain. Then, throughout the season, members can take advantage of special discounts, activities, and more.

“We’re always looking for ways to make our Club OpenRoad program even more robust, and our members thoroughly enjoyed their Grouse Mountain perks in the past,” says Christian Chia, CEO of OpenRoad Auto Group. “Grouse Mountain is a four-season destination, offering its guests a variety of sports, activities, entertainment, gourmet food, and outdoor adventures year-round. We couldn’t be more excited to continue our relationship with Grouse Mountain once again.”

Known as The Peak of Vancouver, Grouse Mountain is one of Vancouver’s most iconic landmarks, just 15 minutes from the city’s downtown core. And soon, it can bring even more people up to the top. Grouse Mountain just announced it is installing a brand new, state-of-the-art gondola, replacing its aging Blue Skyride.

The new lift system, which will work alongside its Red Skyride, includes a total of 13 towers and 27 eight-person gondola cabins with a capacity of up to 1,000 guests per hour. The project is expected to begin in early September and be completed by 2024.

The transformational project sets the stage for Grouse Mountain’s upcoming 100th anniversary in 2026.
