OpenRoad Auto Group, Audi Canada and hundreds of VIP guests celebrated the grand opening of OpenRoad Audi Boundary, now the second largest dealership in Canada and the largest in Western Canada.
Located on eight acres on the corner of Boundary Road and Lougheed Highway in Burnaby, the 113,000-square-foot, four-storey building features expansive new and pre-owned showrooms, a state-of-the-art service centre with 24 high-tech service bays, an automated car wash and two modern customer lounges.
“This new Audi Terminal is a great statement for the Audi brand here in Vancouver and will be a major contribution to our future success,” says Daniel Weissland, president of Audi Canada.
The event featured catering by celebrity chef and restaurant owner Vikram Vij, and by Culinary Team Canada member chef Scott Jaegar, who gave an exclusive preview of the dishes Team Canada will be preparing at the Culinary Olympics in Germany in October. Original aluminum art works by Noah Deledda and Rober Davidson were also on display, as well as the latest Audi models, including the 2017 Audio R8 V10. Attendees were also treated to a surprise performance by Juno award winning and Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Trevor Guthrie, who performed several of his Top 40 hits including Summertime and This Is What It Feels Like.
