Richmond, B.C., October 17, 2022 – Club OpenRoad is officially 10! For the past decade, OpenRoad Auto Group’s (OpenRoad) acclaimed loyalty and rewards program has provided its customers with a variety of perks and exclusive opportunities, from family-friendly events, luxury experiences, to a gainful points system. Since 2012, Club OpenRoad has helped its customers save more than $8.5 million across its sales and service divisions. Currently, over 100,000 are active members.

Potential customers are automatically enrolled in Club OpenRoad as members when they purchase or service a vehicle at any OpenRoad dealership. They have access to cross-redeem their points across Canada, including 17 brands and 26 auto retailers in B.C. and Ontario. Members can earn points with every paid service visit, and redeem their points to save on their next vehicle purchase or service.

To date, members have saved more than $5.9 million in automotive sales, equaling about 11,000 sales redemptions, and more than $2.6 million towards servicing, almost 19,000 in service redemptions.

Highlights from the past 10 years include: family-friendly events, such as go-karting, a kids jumping party, family skate, and drive-in movies with a superhero photoshoot; exclusive new car unveiling events at OpenRoad dealerships; and an immersive cooking demonstration with star chef Vikram Vij.

Go Karting

A new perk for Club OpenRoad members this year is a special 15 percent off best room rate offer from Fairmont YVR and Fairmont Waterfront, which also includes complimentary parking and late check-out. Returning perks include complimentary parking for all OpenRoad license-plated vehicles at Grouse Mountain, an annual visit to grand prix lifestyle destination Area 27 Motorsports Park, special winter driving clinics, and soon, the popular Pet Photos with Santa during the holidays. And, as this is Club OpenRoad’s 10th year, members can expect even more offers to come, including a special members’ event with Fairmont YVR for the end of November.
