OpenRoad Auto Group establishes OpenRoad Foundation
OpenRoad Auto Group is pleased to announce the establishment of the OpenRoad Foundation, our philanthropic non-for-profit giving arm. Through meaningful donations, the OpenRoad Foundation seeks to support the growth of robust, resilient communities where the OpenRoad Auto Group operates. Initially, we’ll concentrate on three philanthropic areas: the environment, communities, and education.
To start, OpenRoad Foundation is donating $25,000 to Vancouver Food Runners to help address food insecurity and the impact of wasted food on the environment in Metro Vancouver as part of all three of its pillars. This donation will allow Vancouver Food Runners to deliver more than 925,000 pounds of food (equivalent to 770,000 meals) in 2023 and mitigate over 400,000 pounds of carbon dioxide this year. Additional grants will be announced in the coming months partnering alongside recipients that align with our giving pillars.
