OpenRoad Group Welcomes ToyotaTown London, Lexus of London, and White Oaks Collision Centre to its automotive family
London, ON, June 20, 2024 – OpenRoad Group (OpenRoad), one of Canada’s largest automotive dealership groups, continues to grow its footprint in Ontario with the recent acquisition of ToyotaTown London, its sixth Toyota dealership, Lexus of London, its third Lexus dealership, and White Oaks Collision Centre, its sixth collision centre. OpenRoad now operates five businesses in the province – having entered the region in 2020 by acquiring Brampton East Toyota and OpenRoad Honda Brampton.
Both Toyota and Lexus have been a vital part of OpenRoad ever since the company was first established in 1978, starting with just one location, Richmond Toyota. In 1990, OpenRoad was one of the first to be appointed a Lexus dealer in Canada.
“We look forward to continuing the success of both ToyotaTown London and Lexus of London,” explains Christian Chia, CEO of OpenRoad Group. “London is a rapidly growing urban area of nearly 600,000 residents. It enjoys strong population growth, driven by a diverse economy. The city’s proximity to the United States and to major urban hubs, such as Toronto and Detroit, make it an exciting and attractive place to live and work. We’re proud to be able to grow OpenRoad in London.”
ToyotaTown London, located at 1065 Wharncliffe Road South, was originally founded in 1970. The dealership proudly serves the communities of London, as well as Kitchener, Sarnia, St. Thomas, Exeter, Stratford, and Windsor. The location is one of the most awarded Toyota dealerships in Canada. Staff have earned Toyota Canada’s Pinnacle award eight times and its service team has been recognized with the Toyota Pride award 10 times.
Founded in 1991 and located at 1065 Wharncliffe Road South, Lexus of London is one of Canada’s original Lexus franchises and continues to maintain and surpass its dedication to exceptional customer service. It was recently awarded 2023 Dealer of the Year by DealerRater.
White Oaks Collision Centre is located in the heart of London at 3363 White Oak Road and currently certified with Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Chrysler, Fiat, and KIA. Its professional team of technicians and painters have more than 40 years of experience in the automotive industry.
ToyotaTown London, Lexus of London, and White Oaks Collision Centre were previously managed by Ontario’s PAG Direct.
“At OpenRoad, we are always looking to partner with the best automotive brands in the world,” adds Chia. “Our goal is to continuously build and energize our industry, redefine our standards, and to constantly create even greater value for our customers. I am excited to join hands with London’s talented leadership team and continue our journey of growth together.”
