After a 2-year hiatus, Club OpenRoad once again hosted its popular Winter Driving Clinic in January for Club members to learn some new skills, brush up on some old ones and break some of those pesky bad habits that we all build over time.

Pet owners got into the holiday spirit for a good cause this year with the return of Club OpenRoad’s Santa Pet Photo events! The special photo sessions were hosted at several OpenRoad locations throughout the region, with all proceeds going to support local charities.

The end of the decade called for celebration with not one, but two big parties with our Club OpenRoad members. The last weekend before the New Year was filled with fun events for the entire family.

Your pets are a part of your family, so shouldn’t they be able to join you in your holiday photos? This year, Club OpenRoad facilitated a special Santa Pet Photos event at several OpenRoad locations, with all proceeds going to support local animal shelters.

Over 400 members and their friends and family headed to the track to experience Club OpenRoad’s first-ever Go-Karting event. Club members received their exclusive email invitation, and within hours the event was sold out! With such a popular response, Club OpenRoad expanded the one-day event to a full weekend on October 5th and 6th, 2019. It likely comes as no surprise that Club OpenRoad members love to drive.

This summer, Club OpenRoad members enjoyed a drive-in movie experience under the stars. Over 1,000 members and their families attended a private, sold-out showing of Spider-Man: Far From Home at the Twilight Drive-in theatre in Aldergrove. While enjoying complimentary concession snacks, attendees were visited by Spider-Man himself when he dropped by for photos with attendees before the show started!

Members joined Club OpenRoad for a racetrack experience on the world-class Area 27 circuit in Oliver, BC over the summer.

Attendees enjoyed a two-day event in the South Okanagan, which included a luxury dining experience at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery and professional driving instruction in their own vehicles from the professional drivers at Area 27. Drivers with experience levels from beginner to advanced were taught how to navigate the 16-turn race track carved into Canada’s desert.
