Our commitment to everyday environmental care at OpenRoad Auto Group
To celebrate Earth Day this year, OpenRoad Auto Group has made a contribution to environmental non-profit organization One Tree Planted, where one tree for every OpenRoad Auto Group Associate will be planted.
“As British Columbia’s largest automotive dealership group, we have a vital corporate role to play when it comes to creating and engaging in environmental and social governance,” says Christian Chia, CEO of OpenRoad Auto Group. “Our group strives to reduce our impact and move towards a more sustainable future. This year, we are making a bigger commitment by announcing plans for a multi-year strategy to help sustain the ecosystem we all live in.”
Further details about how we hope to create a future for our communities that is not only healthier but more resilient will be revealed soon. Currently, our team, led by Environment Social Governance Manager Shea Studler, is working hard to acknowledge the importance of everyday environmental care at all levels of OpenRoad Auto Group.
Shea adds, “Our contribution to One Tree Planted is just the beginning of our plans as we work with our Associates in creating ways to improve our impact on the environment and in our local communities.”
